[Satisfying] I Made a Tiny Robot That Explores My Desk

In this project, I built a small and cute desk robot called Mo-chan 🤖
A tiny companion that explores its surroundings, wiggles gently on your desk, and can also be controlled via Wi-Fi using your phone.

The outer frame is handmade from brass wire, carefully bent and soldered to create a clean, minimalist structure. Inside, Mo-chan is powered by an ESP32-C3, DC gear motors, and a small OLED display that shows expressive eyes and different states.

Mo-chan has three modes:

Curious mode – actively moves around and explores

Wiggle mode – subtle movements, perfect for desk decoration while charging

Sleep mode – stays still and only displays its eyes

You can also manually control Mo-chan if you prefer.

Simple electronics, warm materials, and a calm build process — designed to be both relaxing to watch and inspiring to build.
